'Supreme Commander 2' details more units

Square Enix have released more information on the forthcoming 'Supreme Commander 2'. You'll find ACU Commander artwork, Unit trailers and a host of new screens online now.

Perhaps most important though is the unveiling of three new units.

Bomb Bouncer:

This unit is quite remarkable - it has a massive shield that is projected out over the top protecting itself and all of the units within the area. When incoming weapon fire hits this shield it actually bounces back – which is where the bomb bouncer gets its name.

It features a special weapon called the Mega-Blast that charges when various missiles and bombs hit the shield. When you’re ready, you hit the mega-blast button and you do a massive amount of damage to units up above and in the immediate area. You can also charge the mega blast with your energy reserves before going into battle.

The Pulinsmash:

This unit is outrageous, massive and deploys giant arms that spin to create a vortex that sucks enemy units up into it. The first one sucked up it actually suspends, but the second unit smashes against the first and blows them both up. Very powerful, very devastating, it can suck tanks up off the ground and aircraft out of the air.

The Kraken:

This unique experimental unit has a very intimidating look matched by its firepower. It can take on nearby ships and submarines, zap aircraft, and attack structures and units on land.
