'Deliver Hope' short film extended

The 'Halo: Reach' live-action short, 'Deliver Hope', turned heads when it debuted two weeks ago, and now fans can view a special extended version online.

The extended cut of 'Deliver Hope' debuts today exclusively on Machinima's You Tube channel, and will be available starting tomorrow on Halo.Xbox.com, Halo Waypoint, and www.bungie.net.

Sometimes in the face of unfathomable odds, the only way to accomplish a mission is to pay the ultimate price. This two minute and 15 second extended cut of the 'Halo: Reach' live action film 'Deliver Hope' is a dramatic depiction of the sacrifice paid by Noble Team. It's a more in-depth look into the type of courage and heroism required of all soldiers during the battle of Reach, and includes footage not seen in the original 60-second version of the film.

'Deliver Hope' is the capstone to the series of live-action ads from director Noam Murro, who also directed the 'Halo: Reach' 'Birth of a Spartan' short and a collection of live-action vignettes housed at RememberReach.com.

'Deliver Hope' features an original musical score written and produced by Human, with Brian Emerich as sound designer. The short was edited by Angus Wall, and was filmed on location in Prague.
