Lulo Cafe
Better known as Mikey by his peers, began his turntable days journey back in 2003 under an ultimatum to learn how to mix in two weeks to prepare for a live set at a radio station in Bloemfontein.
That set resulted in the birth of a DJ whose mind is set on telling a story behind the decks. In his journey as A DJ, Lulo has positioned himself as a selector of note and has developed a good ear for cutting edge house music. His sets vary from down-tempo lounge, deep house and funky selections.
This has seen Lulo featuring at the infamous Club Y sessions hosted by YFM, traveling around the country and neighboring countries delivering lounge music.
Through a unique branding strategy and innovative positions as a DJ and an industry player, Lulo Cafe found itself in a position where its not only about the DJ himself thus giving birth to the website, which is about the ins and outs of the DJ industry, everything around it, a platform for DJ's to profile themselves, events and interaction.
