Jack White - Blunderbuss
'Blunderbuss' is ex-White Stripes frontman Jack White's debut solo album, released via his own record label, Third Man Records.
Written, recorded, produced and performed entirely by Jack White himself, it gives new meaning to the term 'solo album'.
The first single 'Love Interruption' broke Third Man's 7 inch sales records with over 10000 physical copies sold in the first two weeks.
When talking about 'Blunderbuss' in an interwiew, Jack White stated that it is a record he could not release until now. He went on to say: "I've put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name. These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas."
