Live In Europe

The just-released DVD follows one of South Africa’s most successful artists as she works her musical magic on a new audience – one that is now ensuring Nádine’s star is well and firmly on the rise in Europe.

Indeed, Nádine’s European journey first began when she recorded her award-winning album ‘This Time I Know’ in Sweden in 2008, with pre-production prior to that taking place in Belgium and The Netherlands.  The singer’s management – King Entertainment – is based near Europe’s capital, Brussels.

In summer 2009, Nádine performed several concerts in Europe as part of the promotional activity to the build-up to the release of ‘This Time I Know’ internationally.

Camera crews followed Nádine from her arrival at Brussels airport to the rehearsals with her live band and even during some shopping in The Netherlands. They also captured a unique and impressive concert at one of the most important summer festivals in Belgium.

Nádine Live in Europe shows an energetic young South African woman arriving in Europe, determined to work hard at creating a music career to match the already impressive one in her native South Africa. With her European team around her and lots of hard work, Nádine soon captured the hearts of everyone attending her European concerts.

As an added bonus, ‘Nádine Live in Europe’ also features video clips of Nádine performing “This Time I Know It’s For Real” and “Made Up My Mind” for a hit television show. Finally, the DVD also features an exclusive acoustic mini concert with Nádine performing South African classics like "Kinders van die wind", "Blouberg se Strand" and her very own hit song "Kaapse Draai".

‘Nádine Live in Europe’ is headed to South African retail on the eve of the release of Nádine’s ‘This Time I Know’ in Europe – further confirmation of the impact this beloved South African artist is having on the outside word.

Earlier in 2010 Nádine became the first South African to win the annual World Peace Song Festival. She was named winner for her song “This Time I Know It’s For Real” beating off competition from the likes of Coldplay (England’s entry) and Ladyhawke (New Zealand).
