This one-off concert, celebrating John Lennon’s words and music was held at New York’s famous Radio City Music Hall on October 2, 2001, in the immediate aftermath of the devastating September 11 attacks on the Twin Towers. Hosted by Kevin Spacey the concert was dedicated to New York City and its people.
As well as the singers, the concert features contributions from a number of star guests including Kevin Bacon, Steve Buscemi, James Gandolfini, Dustin Hoffman, Tim Roth, Leelee Sobieski, Ben Stiller and Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono Lennon.
