This DVD was initially released in 1999 as a VHS and at the time was very well received by Macecilia’s loyal followers.

For many years after the VHS was deleated, Macecilia A St. Paul fans and members of the Roman Catholic Church in South Africa as well as in Lesotho kept on demanding it from music stores and also from the group.

As a result of the massive demand The Collection Vol. 1 has now been converted fromVHS to DVD. This 12 track DVD has great spiritual uplifting songs that prove a powerful reminder of just why Macecilia A St. Paul has achieved such longevity as a Gospel act.

Tracks like 'Bana ba Baheberu', 'Joalo ka khama', 'Peo e Oetse', 'Kenna Eo', 'Morena ke mang', 'Hooang ka thabo' and many more are featured on this landmark recording. All the songs on the DVD were composed by Sylvester Phofu and Lebohang Marius Molefi, acknowledged as two of Africa’s most gifted Gospel composers.
