Eagles of Death Metal swoop on Oppikoppi
Eagles of Death Metal have been added to the line-up of Oppikoppi Sweet Thing.
The Californian cult heroes - comprising Jesse Hughes and Queens Of The Stone Age head honcho Josh Homme - don't live up to their name but rather deliver a combination of "bluegrass slide guitar mixed with stripper drum beats and Canned Heat vocals".
In 2004, Eagles of Death Metal launched their wholesome good-graciousness with 'Peace, Love, and Death Metal', followed, in 2006, by the diabolical 'Death By Sexy', and 2008's 'Heart On'.
The band join Welsh rockers Bullet For My Valentine as international headliners at this year's festival which takes place from 9 to 11 August.
