Vetkuk vs Mahoota are back

After many successful projects with endless hits including, ‘Putuku', ‘Qolo', and ‘Bayete', DJ duo Vetkuk versus Mahoota has gone back to the studio to produce a triple disk project called 'Dinaledi'.

Mahoota joins his long time collaborator and partner in music, Vetkuk on the new album which swings from kwaito, hip hop, gospel to house tunes.

There are tracks from the album that are already burning up the dance-floors. One of the singles already doing this is ‘Stokvel' which features KalawaJazme stable mate, Professor and maestro producer and artist, Oskido.

The song, released not so long ago has already dominated airwaves and the video has also been doing rounds on TV.
Mahoota revealed that ‘Stokvel' took about eight months to finalize with a lot of people involved.

There's no doubt that the single was worth the wait because this dynamic duo always manages to release successful hits.

Taking the unusual route, the album also features a host of noteworthy talents including hip hop artist Khuli Chana, afro-pop duo Jaziel Brothers, Winnie Khumalo and many more.

The duo also feature gospel singers, Jaziel Brothers on a song, the singers deliver a powerful gospel song mixed with bouncy house club banger.

The house DJs performed at Maponya Mall as part of the Securex Soweto Siyabangena Concert on 24 March. They performed alongside artists such as DJ Mono T, Mapiano, DJ Mgedeza and DJ Tshepo Junior.
