The Priests - Harmony
The Priests are Father Eugene O'Hagan, Father Martin O'Hagan and Father David Delargy. The three are practicing Roman Catholic Priests from Northern Ireland who grew up singing together while studying for the priesthood, and all joined by their shared faith and passion for music.
In an amazing twist of fate, after a recording the priests had previously made landed on the desk of Epic Records MD Nick Raphael, they were signed on the spot giving The Priests a worldwide audience to spread their music.
The Priests self-titled debut album broke the Guinness world record for the fastest selling classical debut album of all time. Now comes the follow-up, simply titled 'Harmony'. The album once again offers spiritual, classical and sacred music for the trio's worldwide fanbase. The record features versions of classics, among them 'Amazing Grace', 'The Lord's Prayer' and 'Silent Night.'
'Harmony' also sees the Priests teaming up again with the legendary Mike Hedges who also produced their debut album and whose previous work includes best selling albums by U2 and Manic Street Preachers. It features accompaniment from the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London.
The Priests will also be donating a significant amount of proceeds from record sales to various charities.
