The 'Soul Ballads' series is a well-established brand and consistent seller. In total the 'Soul Ballads' series has sold over 900,000 units across all nine volumes.

These two volumes of 'Soul Ballads' are being reissued due to ever-growing demand by music fans. The previous volumes were deleted because of expired contracts with other third parties that were involved.

'Soul Ballads' is known for always featuring hard-to-come-by tracks – and 'Soul Ballads 5' and 'Soul Ballads 6' are no different.
