Regina Spektor - What We Saw From The Cheap Seats
Regina Spektor's 6th studio album was recorded with Mike Elizondo in Los Angeles during the summer of 2011.
'What We Saw From The Cheap Seats' contains 11 tracks made up of old and new material, with some of the songs being over eight years old.
When asked about how she chose material for the album she said "There were a lot of songs that I wanted to be on this record, but when I played them as demos, they just didn't feel right. It's not their time. But other songs that I hadn't expected to feature, did feel right. It's always unexpected."
The albums first single, 'All The Rowboats', was featured on a prime spot on the CW's Ringer on the 13th of March 2012, making her the Artist Spotlight of the week. The second single off the album, 'Don't Leave Me (Ne me quitte pas)', is a new version of 'Ne me quitte pas', originally from her 2002 album 'Songs'.
