The Singles Collection

Overloaded: The Singles Collection is a greatest hits compilation album from the Sugababes that released on 13 November 2006.

Amelle Berrabah would have been unable to re-record over all of the vocals done by Mutya Buena for the fact that Buena did not want her vocals to be re-recorded on all of the releases and that it may create a controversy with the fans.

However, Buena had no problems with Berrabah re-recording her vocals from the One Touch era, but the company decided to keep all the original vocals, including Siobhán Donaghy, the original member and Buena's vocals in the final production.

It had been initially confirmed by KOCH Distribution (the company involved in distributing the compilation) that the greatest hits compilation will be released in the United States, titled as Overloaded.

It was to be released on 5 December 2006 and would have been the first album from the Sugababes in the United States.

It was rumoured to contain additional bonus songs. However, when asked about the album in the "Ask Billboard" section for Nov. 26, 2006, Billboard.com claims that KOCH is actually handeling the release for Canada not all of North America, and that the album will not be released in the US, just yet.

The lead single for the greatest hits is "Easy" and was released 6 November 2006.

The second single for the greatest hits is "Good To Be Gone" and is expected to be released January 2007. "Easy" made its premiere on The Scott Mills Show on BBC Radio 1 on 12 September 2006. The Greatest Hits title is a spin on the groups debut single "Overload."
