Monica - After The Storm
'After The Storm' is the fourth studio album by American R&B singer Monica, released by J Records in June 2003 in North America.The record saw the singer active in songwriting and producing, with re-teaming with producers and rappers Jermaine Dupri and chiefly produced by Missy Elliott.
Additional production by Jermaine Dupri, Jazze Pha, and BAM & Ryan among others, it was released as a retooled version of her limited 2002 album 'All Eyez on Me' which was partially scrapped after the first single's failure and an early leak via the internet.
'After the Storm' was released to generally mixed but mostly postive reviews among critics. The album has reached number one on the US Billboard 200, and has since been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America eventually selling 997,000 copies as of March 2007.
